Jimothy is yelling at a dead man. No more red meat for him.

If you're annoyed with them now, just wait until you see what Jones does about halfway through S1.

Well that's the pilot. My obligation has been fulfilled.
I've gotta say, it looks like there are a decent number of people left alive who are immune to the virus. Why not just focus on repopulating and rebuilding? Species go through severe die-outs and genetic bottlenecks all the time.
I'll watch episode 2, but I am disappointed about the monkey bait and switch.

There are people trying to rebuild but the virus keeps mutating and taking out people who were immune to previous iterations.
And Jones's motivations are personal. There's a lot of additional factors, too. The show just uses the film as a jumping off point and takes quite a swerve that makes shit more complicated.

Well I hoped this tv series would correct the movies' glaring mistake. I'm on episode 3 now. Jimothy and I have a similar fondness for General Tso's. Is the army of the 12 monkeys still a red herring like in the movie? Don't answer that. I think the old blonde lady in the future is Cassie from another timeline, which would explain why she and her team of scientists are using a random vagrant in their time-travel-stop-the-apocalypse-mission. I feel bad for poor Jennifer. That flower thing is interesting. Does it have any significance aside from aesthetic? Don't answer that.

Here's a thought. Is it a good idea to send humans infected with (though not affected by) a deadly virus into the past? Maybe Jimothy is shedding virus wherever he goes! And why not go with the plan from the movie of trying to make a vaccine from the original virus?

Also so you know, I'm watching this on Hulu and being repeatedly subjected to a Victoria's Secret commercial hawking the cheapest looking lingerie I've ever seen, in prints a middle schooler would wear.

The only commercials I ever got on Hulu was a super obnoxious Wal-Mart clothing apparel for men set to the most ear bleeding country music

I get all kinds of commercials on Hulu but it'll usually be the same one or two over and over and over while I'm binging a specific show.
