DC Comics has unveiled the first look at its new subscription service that will host several new DC TV titles. Set for a launch later this year with the live-action Titans and animated Young Justice: Outsiders as its first two original series.
DC UNIVERSE
Potential subscribers can now sign up for email updates regarding the launch of the new service. But that's not all. DC has released official logos for several of their new television programs including:
TITANS - following Richard Grayson as he steps out on his own and hooks up with a group of misfit adolescent heroes.
SWAMP THING - Swamp Thing centers on CDC researcher Abby Arcane. When she returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all. Written by Mark Verheiden and It co-writer Gary Dauberman, with James Wan serving as EP.
DOOM PATROL - Picking up after the events of Titans, Doom Patrol will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.
HARLEY QUINN - a half-hour adult animated action-comedy series.
YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS - The third season of the wildly popular Young Justice animated television show.
METROPOLIS - follows Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as they investigate the world of fringe science and expose the city’s dark and bizarre secrets. The live-action drama, which had a 13-episode straight-to-series order for a 2019 debut, will now be redeveloped.
