I was rewatching the good parts of a S1 ep (so, you know, Sara scenes) this afternoon and the previously-on had Kendra crying about how Ray who she'd known for roughly nine days can't die because she needed him and I almost beat myself to death with a nearby container of cream cheese over it.

THAT WASN'T EVEN HER CARTER! (I like how all season long in interviews, Klemmer was like, "They can't just get a future Carter because they have to reincarnate together and Kendra's not part of the timeline anymore so there is no future Carter right now," then... gave us future Carter anyway.) And Vandal's still a fucking issue, which I think they never realized.

Audience didn't take to her immediately? Okay, I don't think she was remotely unsalvagable in this incarnation, you just gave her a bad, repetitive plot, so try... not doing that. But even if you think you can't fix 2016!Kendra, there's a mechanism for you to start from scratch built into the show and her origin story. Kendra's name hasn't been uttered since S1 but you'll contort yourselves to keep Mick around and have Rip shoehorned back in whenever Darvill wants a paycheck and Darhk's back for the 135272298127589073683rd time.

Not that I think they're capable of figuring out how to write her. They basically gave her early S1 plot to Amaya this season, so their ideas are... limited. I can't wait for Zari losing control of her wind powers and becoming a crazed killer in S4.

Logical outcomes for the Colossus/Shadowcat wedding:
- Rachel objects, disrupts the wedding and it's at the very least put on hold
- Kitty leaves Colossus waiting at the altar, never shows
- Kitty doesn't agree to her vows, apologies, and hurries out

Kitty runs off with Rachel to the coconut grove.
