It doesn't seem like there's enough video game based activity around here to justify threads for individual games, so here's a generic thread for general video game discussion.
I'm currently playing Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. It's been a lot of fun so far. Much better than FotNS: Ken's Rage that was basically a FotNS version of a Warriors game.
Also so far, the female characters are interesting and not being used as purely plot device fodder for Ken or other men. But we'll see what happens as the game goes on. So far, all the people Kenshiro needs to help are either old people, kids, or men.
The car gameplay mechanics suck though. I also don't like the casino at all from the little I've tried of it. Doesn't seem like any fun, more like a junk minigame that you feel like you should play cause of some of the prizes. One cool feature is being able to use Hokuto Shinken to alleviate health issues people have and get a gift for it. I haven't gotten far enough for anything else.
After I'm done with this, either I play Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or Soul Calibur VI.

I’ve currently clocked 82 hours into Dragon Quest XI. I stopped with Squeenix stuff after years worth of bad content out of Squeenix that culminated in 3rd Birthday. But, I did play a few Dragon Quest games before I quit them. They were pretty good. I actually own both Ken's Rage and Ken's Rage 2. The first one was pretty fun and interesting like most first installments are. It had a return of specific characters being able to do things that other characters couldn't (e.g. Mamiya could crawl through tunnels to get to places faster), something that Samurai Warriors had in its first installment. Unfortunately, KR2 dropped those mechanics, same as all Warriors games drop such mechanics after the first time around.

Just finished my second run through Shadow of War. I'm tempted to play a bit more Orcemon in the arenas, but I think I'd rather go on to the next game.
I got a wealth of options to pick from, i.e. Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Total War: Warhammer II, Stellaris, Starpoint Gemini and I could probably just do my fourth run on The Witcher 3 as well.
But, to be honest, I probably should instead focus on other stuff outside of video games for a while, because I got lots of stuff to do right now. If I start Pathfinder: Kingmaker, I'll probably lose another week of my free time entirely, because I really get absorbed into RPG's.

Greatest Video Games of All Time Bar None, No Discussion, Absolutely NO Question:
1. 102 Dalmatians Puppies to the Rescue 2. That Lion King video game on Sega Genesis I used to play all the time in the 90's 3. Don't Starve 4. Echo Dolphin Defender of the Future 5. The Sims. All of them, but especially Cast Away. 6. Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 7. Angry Birds 9. Pokemon. All of them. 10. Sim Ant

I'm not really playing a game currently, aside from online game mainstays. Right now, I'm just logging onto World of Warcraft for PvP and playing Tekken 7.
I started playing Dead Cells a while back, but got burned out on it pretty quick. I tried the latest Dark Souls clone, Immortal Unchained, as well, but I'm not really interested in continuing it. I'd like to play the new Spider-Man game, but I'm trying to be responsible with my money on account of not having an income. That leaves SDA:ing some PC games, but I'm not sure what to start. I was playing through an emulated version of Windwaker but it started lagging out so I quit and may have accidentally gotten rid of my save. Maybe I'll pick that up again.

I didn't stick with the "post-game" raids and junk because it didn't seem worth the time when I could move on to something else. I happened to like Carnan most out of the characters. It also did much better by female characters than the first game, which at first looked like Lithariel would be good only to turn her into a damsel in distress. Witcher 3 took forever to beat. It was fun and good, much better than the first two games (which I couldn't bring myself to continue past the beginning). I've actually been "playing" Fate/GO and Dx2 on my phone. It's really only since last year that I started playing them. I'm apparently pretty good for options in FGO (even though I don't care for the characters I have), while Dx2 is slow going to get my demons at a high enough level to do the rest of the stuff.

I only played Shadow of Mordor. I really enjoyed the combat and environment, but the whole Orc Nemesis system didn't really interest me, the collectibles had a disappointing pay-off, and the story wasn't great. Is Shadow of War better?

It's basically "everything a step bigger" to Shadow of Mordor. You want more Nemesis system? We got you covered with different orc tribes, more personalities, more options. The characters are much the same, but with a bit more personality to them and the story is an upgrade from the last games story. There are now five zones. There are more collectibles as well, the quality of them is about the same as in SoM.
BTW, is there a multi-quote option? I can't copy/paste the entire quote block to another post by hand.

The Witcher 3 is literally the best game I've ever played. Each playthrough takes 100 hours and about 30 more with the two expansions and I am on three completions. I'll probably go for a fourth, fifth and sixth time in the next decade.

Who's your main? I stopped playing a few month ago to focus on Street Fighter 5 (because I'm doing better at that game), but I'd like to give T7 another try.

Maybe I'll give it a try now that the micro transactions have been removed. That combat was just so freaking smooth. If you click on the little arrow besides someone's post, you can click "select post". Do that for all the posts you want to quote, then hit reply in the window at the bottom of the page. The game balance was already fantastic and now it's even better. Not of the characters I played got wrecked by nerfs or anything, so I'm not complaining. I've played a ton and only gotten wall-bounced once or twice since Season 2 launched, so it's not really a big addition. I haven't really played Lei or Ana yet but they seem cool. I'm eagerly anticipating the next 3 legacy characters. My main would be Paul I guess, but I also regularly play Geese, King, Kazuya and Heihachi. I just got Paul to Genbu yesterday, so I'm thinking that I'll either play around with someone else or try to learn another new character. How is SF5 these days? I played it for a bit 100 years ago (I think I quit just before or just after Kolin was added). I dropped Tekken for a while to play Marvel v.s. Capcom: Infinite, but after that game imploded I went back to Tekken and I haven't played any other fighting game since. I've thought about trying out SF5 again, but I'm so satisfied with Tekken 7 that I don't really feel like switching over. I definitely recommend getting back into it.
