Kinda futzing around with World of Warcraft right now and not much else. My new job has long hours and that is cutting seriously into my video game time, especially since I got other stuff I'm also doing, like participating in two tabletop RPG groups (as GM and player, respectively) or going to the movies one night a week. Waiting for the next Total War DLC. Cyberpunk 2077 still is a year away at least, I guess this will have to do for the moment. Actually getting again more into reading in my free time. ^^ I haven't had as much time to play video games as I used to either, though sounds like your job specifically has longer hours than usual. I also seem to get tired quicker with games. It's only the rare amazeballs games that get me to keep playing regardless of how tired I am, or that make me more energetic for them. I could never get into WoW though, or any MMOs. Longest one I played was City of Heroes. That, I actually spent loads of time going into alleys and defeating random mobs not to level, but specifically to play at being a hero and helping the average person in need of help. It's a shame that Sister Psyche got screwed over though. She was a promising character.

Yeah, just getting on in age cuts down on the gaming time overall. Monday I didn't sleep in well from the day before and while I managed okay for the workday, I was so smashed come evening that I did not have the energy for even playing WoW, where it only would have been some level grinding or daily quests. I finally settled on reading a chapter in one of the early Dresden Files novels and watching some stuff on Youtube. ^^

I made a WordPress post about games I need to play, most of them again. I don't expect anyone to actually read it though, so here's the games I put on my list. - Chrono Trigger
- Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
- Vandal Hearts
- Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Eternal Blue
- Thousand Arms
- Shadow Hearts
Aside from that, I've lately been playing Wolfenstein: Youngblood (in addition to Granblue Fantasy). I'm not making as much progress on Youngblood as I'd like, cause it feels like a time and energy commitment to play it every time.

People got extremely hyped for KH3, so the hype build-up paired with how long it took made disappointment inevitable for many. I'm saying that as someone who started boycotting Squeenix after 3rd Birthday.
I really need to finish Youngblood cause my next game Control is coming out next week. Remedy did amazing with Alan Wake, so I'm sure this'll be great, especially since it has a female protagonist.
Recent patches to Youngblood should help a lot in wrapping it up. Hopefully this weekend. One patch made it possible to pause the game during offline single player. Another patch either already out or upcoming adds checkpoints to towers and boss fights, which is the biggest thing the game's needed. Spending a couple hours getting up the Brother 2 tower only to start over at the very, very beginning of the tower (out of the Underground) cause the boss killed me is something that's made me not want to play it as much.

It's been a while since I updated this I see.
I beat Youngblood, then beat (and platted) Control. Control is awesome and highly recommended. I feel pretty fortunate lately that I'm around for two amazing video game female protags, Aloy on Horizon and Jesse in Control.
I'm currently playing Code Vein. All the trophies are pretty easy to get... except one. The stupid as fuck "rank 30 as a companion" trophy. You need to get 400 marks to reach rank 30, and you only get 1 mark per boss/miniboss. A workaround people found is to go to the Depths and use an easy map so you can get 3-4 marks per run, but that still means at minimum 100 runs. Which is bad enough at the easiest setup where ~5 minutes would mean 8+ hours of just this, but Code Vein has the added problem of this "failed to initiate multiplayer session" error that keeps happening. I've had to just give up and quit multiple times when waiting 15-30 minutes got me nowhere.
It's a perfect example of how asinine it is to have a trophy that requires multiplayer. If the servers shut down, or nobody's playing, you're screwed. Never getting the platinum trophy if you want it. Quantum Theory on PS3 had the same problem. Literally nobody was playing multiplayer.
My next game planned is Indivisible. I backed it a couple years back and was surprised when it unexpectedly arrived last week. Collector's Edition.

Indivisible was meh. I played it for a bit then moved on.
Far Cry New Dawn is fun. I got into it for a bit. But then, Death Stranding came out. And when a Kojima game's out, YOU PLAY IT.
It's been fun. Kojima seems to have moved on from thinking AI's gonna take everything over, to thinking humanity is too complex for AI to match it. That's the subtext I'm picking up. Lots of advertising in the game too, which tells me Kojima and his company underestimated how much time and work it would take to do things without Konami and they needed corporate sponsorship to get over the hurdle. There's also an interesting subtext to this game of how important delivery personnel are - at a time when people are kinda taking it for granted, and companies are trying to replace people with drones and self-driving trucks.
Outside of that, Granblue Fantasy, I finally got through What Makes the Sky Blue and got the third skills for my Alexia, Shiva and Anila (in GBF, in the tier rankings, these characters are considered the best in their elements).

Updates as the only person here that plays video games. I've gotten really deep into Granblue Fantasy at this point. I finally read up on how the hell to do things. Nearly level 100. I'm currently playing God of War from 2018. It's fun. I'm playing it at the same time I'm watching Vikings, so I'm getting a double dose of fictionalized Nordic history/mythology. I got Dreams for PS4 as well but I haven't really done much with it yet. Wanna get God of War done first. I WAS playing Outer Worlds but I lost interest and eventually too much time passed to get back into it. Granblue Versus and Nioh 2 are next month. There's other games I wanna eventually get and play too but they're kinda backburner. There's an upcoming Ys game that I need to look more into. I'm kinda not really playing Fate GO much lately. Can't get myself to play any of the events now. Feels like too much hassle for gameplay I don't care much for and story I tend to just flit through.
