Without knowing if any reason was given or what happened on the thread after I went to bed, my guess is that there was concern about the existence of the thread making him a bigger target for doxxing/attacks, or about it opening the door to such threads (and outcomes) for other people working at Marvel. Much easier to purge such threads, especially with CG people around.

It's why I tried to be careful about how I wrote out my reply on the thread. I've seen other people targeted, and I've seen CG types smearing him with accusations that he hired Heather Antos (and other women) out of sexual interest (cause of course CG types can only imagine women getting work through sex and not their valid qualifications).

I'm... not entirely sure White knew what he was getting himself into when he took the gig. Even if he knew it on an intellectual level, I don't think he knew on an emotional one, which is more important.

Yeah, I figure most of what has people raving about it and rushing in droves to see it is hype. Once the hype is gone, I think most people will just shrug at it.

I think if Marvel had retained the whole "part 1, part 2" naming convention they originally had, it would've hurt them.
