I've been watching Blacklist. So far, it's good. On episode 13 now. I wish Luli had been more involved, but then given they apparently planned to kill her off after only a few episodes, it's actually good they didn't use her more. Higher importance would've required more from the story dedicated to honoring the character. And given how little she was present, what they did do with her an episode or two later is more than I would've expected.
Also, having a ban on everything tied to Disney has actually been very eye-opening for me. There is so much out there not tied to Disney that's worth a watch or play.

I watched all of Sex Education on Netflix and was surprised by how much I liked it. I don't usually go in for teen sex comedies because I think the practice of casting people my age to play kids and prance around half nude on camera is problematique (also why I don't watch a lot of horror movies). Sex Education does do that shit, but it ultimately won me over by being really heartfelt. Like everyone's problems are actually their own insecurities and/or being an imperfect human being trying to communicate with other imperfect human beings and it's really earnest and touching.
It's also very funny.
What is 6th form anyway? Is that like high school? And I didn't realize school dances were just an American thing. Or is it just that prom is an American thing?

If Disney didn't shut the comics side down shortly after acquisition (like they did Lucasarts), why would they do it now? |
