I've always been troubled by how utterly unprofessional comic book people are. Usually that level of dickishness comes with power and notoriety. I'd expect it from directors, producers, celebs, even big deal academics act this way. But at the end of the day, comic book writers/editors/artists produce a niche product that doesn't pull in the cash that film does, doesn't have the literary or artistic bona fides novels or other visual arts have, and is not as widely consumed as your typical pop song/soundcloud rapper turned hit. tl;dr I don't think they're big enough deals to think so much of themselves and behave so childishly in public. Hey buddy, Rob literally sold millions of comics, created comic book icons and continues to move copies 33 years in. |

I've always been more partial to KittyxRachel but it really needs to be adressed that Kitty was a mother figure to Rachel in her original timeline and what that entails. It's not a Jamie/Layla thing since Kitty never met Rachel as a child and probably never will but on Rachel's part.... There's sum unpacking to do.
Kittyana has that sweet, childhood friends, 'I thought I was in love with ur bro but really it was always you' vibe. But its tainted by 'actually I think ur brother feels the same way abt u as I do' syndrome. Yikes.

remember when guggs had yana ruin kitty's wedding, realize the subtext he just put out into the world and quickly threw in a throwaway scene a couple issues later where they specifically say the see each other as sisters
